Totally off topic, but prompted by you last paragraph – be VERY careful trying to use bug spray and sunblock together – depending on the exact ingredients of the sunblock, the combination can do very bad things.

I forgot to mention I like the color of the Lamy Studio.

And my pretend vacation would be to Chicago where my brother lives. We’d go to Anderson Pens, Atlas Stationers and the Field Museum.

We’d play board games (we both really like Pandemic).

I like the idea of a pretend event I cannot do/attend. There is no vacation in my plans, so I think I will pretend choose the clothes and stationery tools I’d take if there were.

Is the S’mores brownie at Starbucks or a local coffee shop?

In reply to Jordan Quinley. There is a 3D printed piece made by Tofty in Shapeways that will allow a D1 refill to fit. There is a link to all of this at the bottom of the Refill Guide and I can attest to the usability of his D1 sleeve, I use them in all my Caran D'ache 849.

I love the look of that Caran d’Ache 849 in India green. I have one in white. Unfortunately, the included ballpoint refill is, well, just a ballpoint, and since it’s proprietary there’s no easy way to replace it with something better. (Trust me, I checked all the forums and I’m not really into nipping and tucking a different standard cartridge to fit every time I need to replace it). So sadly, this pen with its daring simplicity and straightforward elegance goes largely unused.
