Sounds good as a daily writer due to low bleed through, according to Platinum less than Carbon Black.

Platinum has said cleaning it with tap water will create unwanted precipitation and best to use distilled water to clean the pen. Also they recommended pharmacies as the best place to get it cheapest.

Bottle-only is available. I just picked one up in store at Wet Paint in St Paul Minnesota for $46.

The darkest dye-based ink by far is Graf von Faber-Castell Carbon Black.
This might be worth the cost for some artists, but otherwise a regular black ink and/or a good caligraphy ink should do.

Hmmm.
It might be worth to have a dedicated pen for that ink, should those properties be important to you.
As a pen and ink watercolor creator, it sounds great!
