Ka-Week-O! Review: 14K Gold BB Nib

Author AnaPosted on November 14, 2014May 27, 20174 Comments

Have you heard about the new 14K gold nibs available from Kaweco? Ooh la la! I got the chance to try out the BB, double broad nib. By eye, it looked like a stub nib, wide and flat but when I put it to paper, it created a wide soft line. Not hard edged at…

Ka-Week-O! Review: Kaweco Skyline Rollerball in Grey

Author AnaPosted on November 13, 2014November 14, 20141 Comment

With pens, I tend to choose silver and grey as my go-to colors since there are seldom options in green. With the new Skyline series for the Kaweco Sport line, I went straight for the Mint color. I did not pass GO, I did not collect $200 – or a grey pen. Most people are…

Ka-Week-o! Review: Kaweco Skyline Clutch Pencil 3.2mm in Mint

Author AnaPosted on November 12, 2014November 14, 20141 Comment

Everyone knows how much I love my Kaweco Skyline Fountain Pen in Mint so you can imagine how tickled I was to see the 3.2mm clutch pencil in the same gorgeous mint color. I’ve got a matched set! This is my first experience with a large diameter graphite pencil and it was a pleasant surprise.…

Ka-Week-O! Review: Kaweco AL-Sport RAW

Author AnaPosted on November 11, 2014May 27, 20175 Comments

The Kaweco AL-Sport in Raw is the same size and shape as the other Sport models but with a raw aluminum body with a high gloss finish. Its gorgeous in the hand. When compared with the brushed aluminum finish on Liliput, its obvious how much more polished the RAW AL-Sport is. Shiny! The RAW finish…

Author AnaPosted on November 10, 2014May 27, 20176 Comments

I know Kaweco is pronounced “ca-vek-oh” but I thought it would be fun to play on the habit I have of saying “ca-week-oh” and start the first ever Kaweco Week – KA-WEEK-O! To get the week started, I thought I’d show you a fountain pen I’ve always wanted to try: the Dia 2. Its got…

Review: Kaweco Leather Pen Holder

Author AnaPosted on August 27, 20141 Comment

I recently acquired the Kaweco Eco Leather Cognac Brown 2-pen case ($21). I was excited to finally have a case for my little favorite pens. The cognac brown leather seemed like a nice option to the classic leather 2-pen pouch ($20). It’s designed to hold two Kaweso Sport pens or pencils. The case is a…

Kaweco Skyline in Mint

Author AnaPosted on April 4, 2014Leave a comment

Have you seen the Kaweco Skyline series? Look at this gorgeous color? Its listed as mint and despite the fact that I need another pocket-sized Kaweco like I need a hole in my head, I’m thinking I might have to order one. So far, the only place I’ve found them is the Fontoplumo site out…

Were you one of the cool kids in elementary school or middle school or even high school who had access to markers that could change color? These markers came with several saturated colors and a marker with no color. But if you wrote with the colorful markers and then used the marker with no color on top of them, the color would change!...
I wandered into my local art supply store recently to get a couple very specific pencils. But of course I had to browse. I wandered down the watercolor aisle muttering to myself, "I do not need anymore watercolor palettes." So of course, I bought a new palette. But it's different!!!! It's the Derwent Inktense Paint Palette Set ($25). The set includes 12 small pans of color, a sponge along one edge and a portable waterbrush....
What are the odds that the random number generator would pick 3 winners all requesting different sized Endless Pen Companion cases on the first try?!?!? Today, the odds were 66%. So I had to toss a coin for who got the 5-pen and the 3-pen case. So without further ado, drum roll for our winners: Jen and Theresa, I had to toss a coin as to who would get the 3 and 5-pen sized....
