As I’m just getting into fountain pens, I don’t have much experience to compare it to but this ink is very watery and inconsistent, much like a watercolor brush. I’ve used it on several types of paper, too. The feathering is quite noticeable. I’ve not had this happen with any other fountain pen or ink. I was going to shake up the bottle but wasn’t sure if that was a good idea! I probably wouldn’t buy Monteverde ink again because of this but the color is nice! Thanks for your thorough review!
