Tomorrow I head out for St. Louis for the pen show. Will you be there too? If not, I hope you are having a wonderful summer and maybe I’ll see you somewhere else in the future? Until then, have fun with this week’s links including Mike of Inkdependence’s entry into our #21PenQuestions project. Pens: The…

Link Love: Double Duckin’

Author AnaPosted on June 7, 2023June 7, 20231 Comment

I remember when the rubber duck first went for a cruise around Hong Kong harbor ten years ago. I was tickled to see that in honor of the ten year anniversary of the first time the giant, yellow bathtub buddy set sail, they are launching TWO ducks in Hong Kong Harbor this weekend. It makes…

I saw the new Lamy Plus Colored Pencils this week and thought our colored pencil expert, Tina, might want to review them. When I asked her, she confessed that she already reviewed them and said “Lamy should stick to pens”. So, if you are wondering why we are not publishing a review of the Lamy…

Today, I have a WHOLE video of how one luxury handbag maker created their version of this stunning, must-have for all stationery fashionistas. Think they would make me a pink one? Pens: Stylosuite Flex Nibs (via Mountain…

Link Love: Post Pen Show

There are two guarantees at any pen show. One: good times will be had. Two: I will pick up Con Crud. Both can be said about the Atlanta Pen Show this year. There was time spent with friends old and new, a bit too much revelry and, on the way home, the distinctive misery of…

Were you one of the cool kids in elementary school or middle school or even high school who had access to markers that could change color? These markers came with several saturated colors and a marker with no color. But if you wrote with the colorful markers and then used the marker with no color on top of them, the color would change!...
I wandered into my local art supply store recently to get a couple very specific pencils. But of course I had to browse. I wandered down the watercolor aisle muttering to myself, "I do not need anymore watercolor palettes." So of course, I bought a new palette. But it's different!!!! It's the Derwent Inktense Paint Palette Set ($25). The set includes 12 small pans of color, a sponge along one edge and a portable waterbrush....
What are the odds that the random number generator would pick 3 winners all requesting different sized Endless Pen Companion cases on the first try?!?!? Today, the odds were 66%. So I had to toss a coin for who got the 5-pen and the 3-pen case. So without further ado, drum roll for our winners: Jen and Theresa, I had to toss a coin as to who would get the 3 and 5-pen sized....
